Happy Monday, time for another edition of “Motivation Monday: Stuff That’s Making Me Happy”. Ever since I started doing this series it’s like positivity around the internet just seems to find me. I don’t get as irritated with the constant complainers, or get emotional from an overload of all the injustice that seems to be the plight of so many these days. I really attribute it to doing these posts and I’m thankful that I get to share the positivity with you. So without further ado, here’s the stuff that’s making me happy…

 

I love when I see a girl doing the things that most people associate with the things only guys can do. This girl blows her male counterpart out of the water, and I love the little smirk she gives when she realizes she’s going to do just that.

I’m SO not the fan girl type, never have been, thought I never would be. I looked at those girls who melted into a puddle of tears at the sight of their favorite boy band as silly and pathetic. Well be careful of how and who you judge because this “non fan girl” would most certainly turn into one of those screaming fan girls at the sight of THIS man! Michael B Jordan  came to my attention a few years ago after seeing his Oscar worthy turn in the movie Fruitvale Station. I remember being moved by his performance but wasn’t quite in fan girl form at the time. Recently however I’ve followed his career choices and after reading this article and having somewhat of a very vivid dream ( I know I know file me under WEIRD)) about him, I’m now enamored. Dreams aside though, he’s SO super talented and certainly one to watch and I hope we’ll all be watching 😉

  6. HAHAHAH the video was awesome! The chick did amazing with her boom-boxing seriously. We should be hearing her on the radio soon I bet… I loved it. The noises people make man, it’s wicked. She kept going the guy could only laugh at some parts, totally made my day 🙂

  20. This is a great list of things that can help make Mondays easier. I have chronic low back pain and fibromyalgia so I take a handful of prescription medications and even over the counter meds too. I know it can’t be good but neither is being in constant pain.

  22. I have never heard of bloody mary chips- I am going to have to find some for my husband! I love those copper martini glasses, so cute.

  23. I suffer from chronic migraines so I can understand. I don’t take OTC pills anymore to save my kidneys and liver. I use herbal therapy, like tea and essential oils to battle them.

  26. I’ve been a fan girl to a few people and things. I got to meet a voice actor for one of the cartoons I really loved (still love) when I was younger. I was 17? I was the biggest dork ever when I met him, bought him a little pin of his character for his convention badge, drew him a picture, all that. XD I’m still a fangirl all these years later, and will get to live my fangirl dream of seeing a South Korean boy band live in California in Oct!! I can’t wait!! 😀

This is definitely a great list you compiled, I have never heard of bloody mary chips before, but I did use my favorite Bloody Mary Mix to make ‘Bloody Mary Mussels’ and they were the bomb dot com!     I’m glad I haven’t yet met him in person, about the only current actor that would probably make me go ‘fangirl’ is Jason Momoa (aka ‘drogo’ on game of thrones!) After seeing Lenny Kravitz pants mishap, I could see why Lisa Bonet decided it was time for an ahem ‘upgrade’.

    Michael was awesome in fruitvale station! But girl it gets 100 percent deep when someone is showing up in your dreams! I don’t think guys I have dated in real life done showed up and made an appearance in my dreams! LOL

    This year me and Denzel Washington kind of walked into each other, he was coming out from his play and I was coming out from a different play I went to see and him and his wife almost bumped into me and my mom. His ‘security’ looked all hard but we were tired and just wanted to get around the screaming crowd, I guess we were all so focused on where we were trying to that we didn’t see each other coming! He was super nice and I guess him and his team were surprised that we didn’t try to attack him for a picture or autograph!

  29. I usually don’t develop celebrity crushes either, but I’ll have to admit that Michael B. Jordan is cute. He is also a terrific actor. I loved his work in Fruitvale Station.
