When I started Weekend’s With Winter I did so purely out of my need to create and my passion for all things fun, fearless and inspiring. I wanted folks to read the blog, but my initial concerns were simply to create great content that would motivate those who came to this space to live their lives like it’s the weekend, 7 days a week. I’m humbled to say that 2 years later there have been so many amazing things that have gone on to inspire ME from this venture.
I started my podcast Ethinically Correct with some really great friends of mine. We aim to talk about what it means to be ethnic in America and foster a conversation that is both compassionate and insightful. I’ve been able to attend some great events that have expanded my social network as well as my love for LA, and I’ve worked with some really great brands and have tested products that I believe improve the quality our lives.
I’ve done all of this without a HUGE following but with enough of one to keep me going. With that said, as this blogs 2 year anniversary approaches I would love to celebrate these milestones with my readers. I was recently contacted by the folks over at FABLife and I’d like to offer a couple of my lucky readers the opportunity to accompany me as a VIP guest to a show taping.
If you’re not familiar with FABLife it’s a show created by super model mogul Tyra Banks that deals with beauty & business, fashion, home, food, & DIY. The host lineup consists of model/foodie Chrissy Teigen, fashionista Joe Zee, interior designer Lauren Makk, and do-it-yourself expert Leah Ashley along with a multitude of celebrity guests and chefs.
The taping will be Tuesday March 15th at 11:15 A.M. in Culver City California.

Because the taping is coming up I ask that submissions be made by Friday March 11th at 1:00 P.M.

Time has really flown by, I still can’t believe it’s been two years. Oh and believe me your writing is an inspiration to me too 🙂 Can’t wait to see how much you’ll grow and the opportunities awaiting you at the two year mark!
