A Wedding to Remember

Tyson Wedding It was the perfect weekend to have a wedding. The sun was to be shining and I was so excited to head to the Huntington Library to celebrate my friends Joshua Calhoun and Amber Tyson’s nuptials. Mother Nature however had other plans. The sky  opened up and it rained and rained and rained some more. However you will see it DID NOT rain on their parade! Amber and Josh really made the best of the moment and showed how when something is meant to be nothing can come between it…

Coming up with the words to describe the wedding of my dear friends Joshua Calhoun and Amber Tyson has been so hard to do. Adjectives like beautiful and breathtaking seem to do it no justice. Trying to explain the love between two families and their friends, coming  together to celebrate the nuptials of two wonderful individuals seems trivial to try to convey so hopefully these beautiful pictures do it justice 🙂

Aside from the evening being all about love it was also all about the glam! I had such a great time getting dressed up with my friends and family, I felt like a celebrity for the day!

I’ve seen Brandy perform many many times but each time is like the first. She brings such passion to every performance and we all teared up from her beautiful rendition of Sade’s “By Your Side”.

Every event leading up to  Josh and Amber’s wedding day was more perfect than the next (you probably saw me mention it here and here) but this was the ultimate end to the celebration of the love these two share. I was so honrored to have been apart of it and to be able to share their moment with you guys.

Thank you Amber and Joshua, your love inspires me and I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness. Now get busy on those babies 😉

  1. Winter, thank you so muchfor sharing these beautiful pictures from the wedding of Joshua and Amber. I agree I’ve never seen such a beautiful wedding as this. I pray that the marriage will be as beautiful as the ceremony as this couple begins life together. The Lord instituted marriage from the beginning when He created Adam and Eve. He instructed Adam to leave father and mother and cleave to his wife: and they shall be one flesh. (Genesis 2:24) Nothing can be so beautiful as a man and woman following God’s plans for their lives. The Lord bless you Winter, it was so wonderful to see you and your mother after many years.

  5. What an amazing looking wedding! All those decorations must have taken HOURS to put in place. I’m sure this will definitely be one of those days that nobody forgets!
