Fall Dining With Design Within Reach

in Inspiration on 30/09/14

Fall Dining with dwr.com
If you’re a blogger or a follower of blogs then you know pumpkin spiced lattes are to Fall what peonies are to Summer. Today on “Weekends With Winter” however, I’d like to bring in the Fall season a little differently. Today instead of taking the obligatory Starbucks coffee cup photo, I am giving you a little eye candy in the form of Fall dining.

Like the next person I’m a fan of pumpkin centerpieces and spooky looking owl vases, however, there are far more creative changes you can make around the house that usher in the new season.

To assist you with this feat, Design Within Reach has a gorgeous Fall collection that I think you  are going to love, and what’s even better is that these items can be used to transitioned through the coming  seasons as well!

So take a look, let me know what you like.  Are there any items here you can see in your own dining spaces? If not, what’s your favorite thing about the Fall? Kind of loving this iced frap pumpkin latte myself 😉

I’m partial to the Branch Wall Sconce and the Oil Lamp. Couldn’t agree more that designing for the season doesn’t necessarily mean holiday-ish. My personal fall favorite is cozying up on the couch with an oversized blanket drinking warmed apple cider and marveling at the colors on the trees.

Love those hanging lights! We’re getting ready to move into another house, and I’m SO excited about decorating more with the seasons in mind since we have more space. 🙂

My mom sent me pinecone garland one year and I am obsessed with it. I don’t know where to put it with the new kitten, but I use it from Oct-January to decorate for Fall and Winter! I have a Mercury glass pumpkin too. I love decorating for the holidays, but in subtle ways.

I am so bad at decorating tables and centerpieces but I do enjoy looking at them and wishing. Favorite thing about the fall is the cool weather.

I loooove decorating for fall. Mainly because Fall leads us into the Christmas decorations and you can kinda use the same stuff (chesnuts, acorns, etc).

The vases are beautiful and love the color scheme. I usually do not decorate my interior for fall but I do place different shades of ornaments in tall glass vases year round. Doing so gives me the flexibility to add a pop of color to any area without purchases new vases.
